Un Voyage Dans Les Vignes - 'Pesked' Blanc (750ML)

Un Voyage dans les Vignes is the successor to Loire legend Jo Pithon’s Pithon-Paillé, including their cheeky Grololo wines. ‘Pesked’ is 80% melon de bourgogne (the grape of Muscadet) and 20% grolleau noir. Farming is certified organic. The wine ferments and ages for a year in subterranean tanks. The nose calls forth Muscadet - stony, flinty, and a little leesy. And yet there’s a suggestion of floral red fruits… in a white wine - that 20% of red grapes makes itself known here, even without the skin maceration that would bring color and even more red-fruit character.
